Awesome October News

Great excitement! My four new books have just arrived. They look brilliant, they really do! Check out my books page to find out about Oh Auntie, Oh Santa, Scooter Gang: Python Panic and Scooter Gang: Rainforest Run. I must get busy and organise some book launches. One will certainly be held at my local bookshop – Bandon Bookshop – in Bandon, County Cork. So if you live nearby, keep an eye on this site as I’ll let you know as soon as I get a date and time fixed.

We had a great summer. We spent four weeks in France and had a tremendous time cycling in Bresse and then in the very hilly Jura. We saw some fantastic scenery and really enjoyed ourselves. Ruadhri was a bit grumpy though! I didn’t get much writing done, and at the moment I’m very busy teaching at Leap National School. I’m Writer in Residence there. I’ll be there every Tuesday morning for eight weeks as I work with 5th and 6th class on making their own books.

But soon I must get on with some new stories. I’m looking forward to that, just as soon as I can find some time.
